What are investor fees?
Anyone that invests on Honeycomb is charged a platform service fee in addition to their investment amount. Depending on how they invest, the fee structure looks a little like this:
- ACH/Bank Account - 2.85%, capped at $37.25
- Hybrid (Honeycomb Wallet + ACH/Bank Account) - 2.00%, capped at $37.25
- Honeycomb Wallet - 0% (this is where investors receive their repayments)
- Credit Card - 4.00%, capped at $200.00
When is the no fees promotion?
There will be no Bank Account and Hybrid investment fees for your offering from the time you go live until 8 PM ET the following day.
If someone reaches out and says “I tried to invest during the promotion, but received an error. What should I do?”
Ask them to contact support@honeycombcredit.com - make sure to share the offering name they want to invest in, the dollar amount, and the exact time/day they attempted to invest. You can also copy in your Customer Experience Manager!
What if someone attempts to invest after the 24 hours is up?
They will be subject to regular investment fees.
